Q: Does EDTA Chelation Work For Hearing Loss? Can Metals Cause This?
Please let me know if hearing loss can be caused from the toxic metals in my system. My hair analysis showed that I was high, and toxic, in several metals.
I finally had to go to a doctor because I find it hard to understand what someone is saying to me. The doctor said that I have high frequency hearing loss.
Can the metals cause this?
Does EDTA chelation help to get rid of my metals, or do they pump drugs in you?
Please let me know.
Thank you.
A: From Dr. Hull
I don’t recommend EDTA (ethylene diamine tetra-acetic acid) because it is a synthetic amino acid, and messing with isolated amino acids is not healthy, according to my aspartame research. One of the many reasons aspartame is toxic is due to its two, isolated amino acids.
Amino acids are naturally blended in multiples to work together, and if you have at least 8 of the essential amino acids together, they work in synchronicity – they all assist one another for one main goal, which is to provide energy to the brain for body function.
IV chelation with vitamin C is a very good chelation choice. It can get expensive when done for an extended time period, but sometimes this is necessary if toxins are deep tissue or at high levels, like the tin within your body. This is why I like my Detox Program – it can be done longterm without much expense.
You are correct that metals can create many different health reactions, such as your hearing loss, and typically toxins effect the weaker spots in your body where you are already having health problems. I refer to this reaction as your weak link because toxins break down the weakest places more rapidly than the stronger places in your body.
The toxic level of tin can certainly affect your hearing, especially if the tin is deposited within your ear. The tin is somewhere in your body, so focus on your weak link as the depository.
Keep researching your detox options, and try to get comfortable with the detox concept as a lifestyle change. Thank you for having the hair analysis done because now you know what toxins are within you, and let me know if you have any more detox questions. I think that you will find my program will work well for you.
Let’s get that tin out!
The best in health,
