Raw. Why is eating raw your best choice?
Raw foods contain enzymes needed for digestion. Ideally, no meal should be eaten that is fully cooked.
Animal and human studies have shown that when a fully cooked meal is eaten, the body treats that food as a foreign invader and builds antibodies in the blood against the food.
These antibodies are a second component of the body’s immune system.
When at least 75% of your meals are raw, no antibodies appear in the blood. This means that at least 75% of every meal should be raw.
This percentage of raw food that you eat should actually be increased to 100% if you want to reverse allergies, cancer, Rheumatoid arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis and other diseases that require a toxic load be eliminated.
Liver: An Old-School Nutritional Tip
Avoiding a vegan debate, history shows that one of the most nourishing foods known to all meat-eating animals is liver, but be choosy where you purchase liver.
I don’t like eating liver, but there are some great liver supplements that can restore your blood health and naturally replace iron levels.
The better quality health food stores carry predigested raw, desiccated liver tablets made from beef or buffalo that have never been given antibiotics, growth hormones, pesticides or herbicides.
An average dose of 9 tablets a day, approximately 13.5 grams for cancer patients, rapidly builds the health of the body’s own liver – the main organ of detoxification and an integral part of the body’s immune system when fighting disease.
In Nature, a predator will eat the liver first from its prey because the liver holds the most blood and the blood nutrients of any other body organ. Eating liver restores the liver.
Eating The Right Kind Of Foods
Eating the right foods is vital to maintaining health because food provides the fuel human beings need to stay alive.
Remember that we don’t live to eat – we eat to live.
All food converts into raw energy … everything that you eat or drink.
All food passes through the same set of reactions, too, whether it is a fast food hamburger or a raw, organic carrot. But enzymes are always needed.
Food that is manufactured in a laboratory doesn’t provide any enzymes, so our bodies have to supply them. When our bodies’ supplies of enzymes and nutrients are depleted due to cancer or another disease present, for example, we must replenish the enzymes somehow.
Not in fast food lines, not with fat-free, sugar- free food substitutes, not with man-made food replacements, but with whole foods and natural organic supplements.
Only with whole, raw foods can human beings maintain the proper supply of the parts that keep the machinery going.
Some good sources of natural food enzymes:
- Aloe vera
- Honey
- Juice or powdered greens such as wheat grass and barley
- Garlic
- Papaya
- Pineapple
Make sure your foods are raw, cold pressed, and enzyme-active.
