As our modern world becomes overpopulated and more polluted, bacteria and viruses continue to be a treat, and they are mutating. The threat of bioterrorism grows everyday.
America’s biopharmaceutical research companies believe that the solution to these growing concerns is to create more chemical vaccines. And, their main targets are our children.
I don’t agree. I don’t like vaccines, and I never have, but that’s my opinion.
Not everyone agrees, and that’s OK. Just allow me to remain free to make my own, personal decisions about what I choose to put inside of my body.
400 New Drugs
Instead of addressing the causes of our social chaos, we seem to be creating more.
By 2010, over 400 new medicines and vaccines were in the works to fight the infectious diseases that we are bringing upon ourselves.
At this time, 18 new medicines and vaccines were in development to treat or prevent staph infections and sepsis. Scientists were developing treatments for infectious diseases from herpes to rabies to meningitis and SARS.
A total of 145 vaccines had been developed to prevent a variety of infections, including a number of “forms” of influenza. No one expected COVID-19 to appear on the global market.
Over the past decade before COVID, 88 antibiotics and 96 antivirals were in development. Treatments for HIV infection were not included in the CDC reports, but as of 2009, 97 medicines and vaccines were being tested for HIV/AIDS.
If any of these drugs worked, the demand for so many more drugs wouldn’t be needed, you think?
Here we are 11 years later, and not much has changed.
Fast Track Meds
Fast track meds have always been around. Of the 395 medicines and vaccines that were developed over the past few years, 24 were on a “fast track”— a process designed to facilitate the development of new vaccines and ways to expedite the review of drugs.
So, COVID-19 vaccines were not an exception.
“Fast track” medicines include those for hepatitis C, severe sepsis, and pneumonia.
Super Bugs – A Man-Made Creation
Are super bugs a man-made creation, or are they natural and simply increasing today – for some reason?
I’m not sure if we’ll ever determine an answer, but the more over-populated and polluted our environments become, and the more our foods are tainted with chemicals and genetic engineering, I think we can focus on these as some of the causes of our increasing diseases.
More and more attention is now turning to “super bugs”, such as Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and COVID-19.
In the U.S. alone, two million drug-resistant infections are reported every year. Yet, we keep creating more drugs to make drug-resistance more common.
Biological Warfare
COVID-19 isn’t a new concept. Scientists have been working to thwart the potential devastation of biological warfare agents for decades, but sadly, they’ll always be a treat.
Ten separate treatments for anthrax and three for smallpox are still in development. By 1980, “modern medicine” had eradicated naturally occurring smallpox in humans worldwide, but today, we have concerns that the virus could be used as a bioterrorism weapon.
Grrrr. Modern humans can be such a pain …..
Will we ever admit that the solutions to the spread of human diseases are not within the plethora of medications, but in eradicating the source(s)?
- Cleaning up our environments and returning to a more natural lifestyle can help stop drug-resistant infections.
- Taking LESS meds can help stop drug-resistant infections.
- Children should not start vaccinations until their brains have completed development around 24 months of age. After scrolling down the list of vaccines from the 1940s as compared to what we inject inside infants and babies today is disgusting.
Well, there’s no questions that this just might be our own doing …or undoing.
I look forward to the day when we implement the right solutions to disease; when we can depend less on vaccines as the answer to our problems.
