If you’ve had the Coronavirus, you probably lost your taste and your smell.
Both take a while to return, but here are some ways to restore them sooner than later.
Supplements To Restore Taste And Smell
I am big believer in supplementing with a quality multi-vitamin and trace mineral in today’s polluted world, but if you’ve been ill, your body may need extra nutrients for a month or two.
If you’ve had the Beer Bug, the Rona AKA Coronavirus, these specific nutrients can help you restore your taste and smell:
- zinc
- vitamin D
- vitamin A
- oxygen
Zinc
Interestingly, research is again recognizing the healing effects of HCQ + zinc for The Rona Virus when taken at the start of any health symptoms. Therefore, zinc is an understandable essential nutrient for restoring your taste and smell that The Rona masks.
Vitamin D
The best source of vitamin D is natural sunshine, but quality supplements are available if you need additional D to restore your health from the Beer Bug.
It’s a shame that we have been locked-down and told to stay indoors during this virus, especially because vitamin D from the Sun is important to heal from it.
Vitamin A
Many people combine vitamins A and E, which is a good idea when recovering from The Rona. I recommend tocopherols as the best source of vitamin E, and always follow the directions on the bottle when taking these supplements.
Oxygen
A normal intake of oxygen is critical when restoring your taste and smell caused by Coronavirus. This is one reason why I have never been a fan of strapping on a face mask.
I wore a mask when I was a fire-fighter to keep from inhaling smoke and ash. But, I also had an oxygen tank to replace the oxygen that I lost wearing the mask.
You can buy oxygen supplements if you feel you are not getting enough oxygen. This may help you restore your health quicker if you are not getting outside enough or taking deep breaths.
Use Common Sense
If I sneeze, I cover the sneeze with my arm, and I do not stand close to anyone who is sick.
Simply use common sense to avoid getting sick. It’s been like this for centuries.
Get plenty of sunshine; take deep breaths, exercise, and take your vitamins to prevent getting sick. Most importantly, don’t be afraid of a cold, the flu, or the Beer Bug. Use common sense and work hard to be healthy, happy, and strong.
Illnesses strengthen your immune system and exposure to germs can make it stronger. Bottom-line, you cannot avoid germs when you are a vital living being.
Live. Laugh. Love. Practice healthy precautions to avoid getting sick, and most importantly, don’t hide in fear.
And try these tips to restore your taste and smell.
