The strength of the Sun. The vulnerability of your skin. The two don’t mix. Or maybe they can.
It is important to feed your skin both from the inside out and from the outside in, especially if you spend lots of time in the Sun. I highly recommend NIORA skin care products because they contain nutrients that feed my skin.
To prevent damage from the sun, use a product with Argan oil, similar to jojoba oil. Argan oil is used generously in NIORA’s Eye Therapy Replenishment Serum.
Argan oil is an elegant rare oil that goes deep into your skin.
Vitamin C is a nutrient that feeds your skin, too. Vitamin C stimulates collagen production, which prevents wrinkles and sun staining. Ceramides should be added to your skin care products to nourish, strengthen and stimulate the skin’s underlying cellular matrix, and this prevents wrinkles.
Your skin care products should be a vitamin hit in a skin care bottle. Quality skin care is great for deep facial lines and wrinkles because it is should be loaded with vitamin C esters, Alpha Lipoic acid, and Alpha Hydroxy fruit acid complexes.
Your skin care should be good enough to eat!
Dehydration
Hydrate. Hydrate. Hydrate. It is so important to stay hydrated with pure water to keep your skin young. The hot summer sun can dehydrate you faster than you think, and dehydration will age your skin … faster than you think.
Did you know that dehydration can create dark circles under your eyes and make wrinkles “pop out?” The human body is approximately 70% water, so when you stay hydrated, your skin cells stay full and revitalized.
If you get dehydrated, your skin will show it.
Make sure to drink the purest forms of water available, and avoid flavored waters, diet waters, and bottled waters with additives, such as food colorings, preservatives, corn syrup, or diet sweeteners.
Moisturize
It is important to keep your skin moisturized, especially when the summer sun is pulling moisture out of your skin.
Use a skin product that contains fruit acids, phospholipids, and jojoba that fade wrinkles, and, most importantly, a product that rehydrates your skin while reducing puffiness and discoloration from the sun.
Use quality skin care products made with these nutrients all year long, but especially during the hot summer months.
Feed your skin like you feed your body – you’ll look younger for it!
