I often hear that taking vitamin and mineral supplements is a waste of time and money. Many doctors say that you simply pee them out unused. And if you are eating quality foods, why do you still need to take vitamins?
Well, as long as Bill Gates and the WEF are around in today’s world, more and more toxins are being added to our foods and lower quality farm fields and Big Corporate GMOs are taking over quality farming. So, taking a vitamin and mineral supplement is a pretty good idea.
I must admit that my perspective is an American one because I do realize that there are many other countries around the world that do not have corporate farming protocols or GMOs that dominate in the USA, but heed my warning no matter where you live in today’s polluted world.
I consider it health insurance.
I’m all for eating organic and whole foods grown in soil rich in nutrients. This is the natural way to provide your body the essential nutrients that it needs to stay healthy. But keep it real …. most people don’t eat enough whole foods grown in soils rich in nutrients. In my profession, I have to be realistic – this is the case most of the time, especially with Bill Gates buying up American farmland and the WEF trying to convince the global masses to eat da’ bugs.
Always make sure to eat the purest foods that you can, but if you feel that you are not getting enough vitamins and minerals daily from your food sources, purchase a quality multivitamin that you can break apart with your fingers. If the vitamin breaks apart easily, it is a better quality vitamin and less adulterated in the lab; this means that it has less fillers and preservatives when it can break apart easily.
And never take a time-released or buffered vitamin or medication, for that matter. These have been heavily altered in the laboratory to stop your body from naturally digesting and assimilating the vitamin like it digests your food – your body will quickly break all food stuff apart to extract the essential elements it provides in less than an hour.
If a supplement has been buffered or engineered to release slowly and incrementally over time, it unnaturally sits in your liver awaiting release, and this is toxic to your liver and can elevate your liver enzymes.
That’s not healthy, especially for your liver.
What Vitamins Do You Take?
It’s hard to know which vitamins you need. Many times, people buy the most advertised multivitamin brands from the grocery or pharmacy, but these are commonly the ones that are highly manufactured, and you need a hammer to break them up.
Just try to break them apart with your fingers.
These are the vitamin brands that do not assimilate or digest well, so they pass through your system unused.
If you go to a health food store to get your supplements, many times you wind up coming home with supplements that you do not need. I call these supplements the bells and whistles. I’m sure that they are healthy supplements, but you may not need them, and if you’re on a budget, it saves you money to only take the supplements that your body really needs.
How do you know which vitamins you need?
A hair analysis will show you exactly which vitamins and minerals that your body does and does not need. Instead of guessing, determine what your body needs beyond any doubt.
If you want to simply take the most basic supplements, like calcium and magnesium or vitamin C, consistency is as important as the supplements themselves. I recommend taking these vitamins at least 5 days every week:
- Multivitamin
- Trace mineral complex
- Vitamin C from palmitate (to bowel tolerance)
- B-Complex
- Pure B3 niacin (never use flush-free and start with a low dose of 50 mg)
Remember: the key to taking supplements is taking them consistently. It’s like eating whole foods consistently. Your body will depend on you providing the essential elements it needs to function daily, so make sure to never let your body down.
