Hi Dr. Hull. I’m writing you because I’m stuck, and I hope you can find a way to get me out of this rut I’m in because I’m so frustrated, and it’s beginning to seriously affect my health.
A friend recently told me about the health dangers of aspartame. I went on the internet to try to find a way to detox from 30 years of drinking diet cokes and pouring 3 packs of Equal in my coffee every morning.
The only way I found to do this is by drinking lots of water. This just doesn’t seem to help, and I’ve got serious water belly that makes me feel even worse.
Here are my symptoms –
- headaches,
- flickering lights in my eyes,
- depression,
- inability to sleep,
- tired,
- lethargic,
- body aches,
- numbness in my hands,
- just an overall feeling of being sick,
- and now, the water belly and feeling bloated.
I would like to know if there is something more I should be doing. If you could put me in contact with a local physician, I would appreciate it.

I suggest that you contact a reputable health food store and ask if they recommend a homeopath or a talented chiropractor in your area. But, just getting off aspartame should improve your health symptoms within a few short weeks. And when you detox properly, you’ll really feel an improvement in your health.
