This is a wonky title for an article, but it’s true. Your health is like a garden, so tend to it like a garden.
To maintain your health, you need:
- water
- nutrients
- pruning
… and you must continuously pull the weeds that are at the root of illness.
To tend a healthy garden, you must continuously provide it:
- water
- nutrients
- pruning
… and you must continuously pull the weeds that rob the nutrients from the planrs.
Weeds take over any healthy environment because they are looking for:
- water
- nutrients
… and they hope that you won’t continuously remove them. It’s important to remember that weeds are living off your water and nutrients.
Literally, they are robbing from your garden and from your body.
Big Storms Coming
Down in South Texas on my wildlife preserve, we’ve been in a drought this Spring. We recently got hit with two consecutive tropical storms. As much as high winds and 10″ of rain can be a pain in the rump, this much needed rain provided water and nutrients to my gardens.
Rain water carries nutrients in it, if it’s not polluted that is, so my ranch literally burst into life after the deluge of rain. They don’t Chem the skies down here because Mexico outlawed Chemtrails, so we enjoy clear blue skies with towering puffy clouds – just like in the old days.
After any good rain, the soil is puffy and moist. This creates the perfect environment to pull weeds.
And that’s exactly what I did!
When Illness Is Brewing
Just like all wildlife, every plant and animal, your body is a product of your environment. You need:
- water
- nutrients
- pruning (maintenance in human terms)
If you have toxins that have accumulated inside of your body, like in your organs and tissues, over time the toxins will build up and create a storm inside of you. Ask yourself why you are having headaches and allergies, or why your skin is breaking out in a rash.
When a health storm is building and symptoms of illness start to appear, begin tending your garden …. provide your body with plenty of water and healthy nutrients. Then, when your tissues and organs are healthy and hydrated, go find the root cause of your illness so that you can start pulling out the weeds that are making you sick.
How do you do that? You detox, and as you remove the invaders that are taking over your health, wellness returns.
Pulling weeds may not be fun and it is a lot of work, but it secures a healthy and fruitful environment. When you feel like you are getting sick and a health storm is brewing, prepare yourself by drinking mostly water every day, eating an enriched, whole-foods diet, take your supplements, and prepare to pull out he weeds.
This isn’t an awkward metaphor – your body is like a beautiful garden. Tend to it every day, detox the weeds, and watch your health blossom.
