You’ve heard the expression “putting lipstick on a pig”, right? You’re not fixing a problem – you are simply trying to make a bad situation look better.
Today, most of us are feeling a collective struggle to get ahead. No one seems happy. Hopes and dreams seem out of reaach. Laughter is rare, and making jokes – well, that’s unexceptionable because it’ll hurt somebody’s feelings.
And after COVID, people are experiencing more health problems.
It’s important to activate changes for the better – don’t accept the negative – don’t put lipstick on the pig.
Like attracts like, and this is how you stay sane and positive in a very negative world. Focus on the good around you and attract positive things, even if you have to use a magnifying glass to spot the tiny things to be grateful for.
This turns your thoughts toward better things … this is how you heal.
Prepare
Prepare for any unknowns. When you are prepared for the unexpected, you can have clarity and peace of mind. Do you have:
- extra food and water;
- 90 days of extra medications in the refrigerator;
- a power source/generator for your home;
- extra cash stuffed away;
- extra pet food;
- a way to communicate with family, friends or neighbors;
- faith and hope?
When any event happens outside of your normal routine, step back and give it at least 24 hours to better understand what these changes mean to your life.
If you are diagnosed with an illness, give yourself the time you need to determine why you are ill, and learn the many ways that you can make this better – use both allopathic and alternative methodologies to find the right solutions.
You want to listen to your doctor, but you should also research alternatives.
Do a hair analysis to find the cause behind your diagnosis, and detox. There are many good detox programs out there, so choose the one that works the best for you. But detoxing ASAP is critical to restoring your health from things that catch you by surprise.
Always have extra cash on hand, no matter what sacrifice that requires. Keep extra food in the pantry; dried and canned foods preserve the best. Always have extra water on hand, too.
Be prepared and strong for the unknown. Being organized and prepared for any unknown is always better than scrambling preparations a little too late.
I’m an optimist, and I have always looked at the glass half full. No one wants to get sick or have financial troubles, but if you are prepared, you can weather this storm. Especially if you need medications.
And stay positive. Be self-secured and always maintain faith that there is good out there.
Don’t put lipstick on your pig to trick your mind – stand tall and strong amid all the strange and negative events happening today. Every storm passes.
Just be prepared to accept reality. And go give your pig a hug.
