The summer heat may still be blazing for many of you, but autumn will be here before you know it.
Now is a good time to detox from your summer fun.
Ice cream. Colas. Beer. Outdoor barbecues. Chips and dip. Bug spray. Theme parks. Sunscreen. Family reunions. Cruises.
Sound familiar?
Before you or the kids start school, take advantage of the remaining lazy days of summer to detox over the next few weeks.
Why Detox?
Actually, I am taking advantage of this seasonal time to detox myself.
Yes, I’ll admit that I’ve a had a few pilsners while gardening in the hot Texas sun, and although I use all-natural sun protection and bug sprays, I still detox from any chemicals that absorb through my skin.
I recommend that everyone detox at the turn of every season, every year – it’s a good way to consistently clean your body year after year.
Learn about the Detox process because this will help explain so much about alternative methodologies and detoxification. Remember, this is an education in a lifestyle change. Learn all you can.
Detoxing is like deep-cleaning your house or changing the oil in your car – everyone does this periodically to make sure no problems build up over time.
Research your lifestyle and anything that you are using that is manufactured with heavy metals, artificial preservatives and chemicals. This way, you can eliminate them from your lifestyle and avoid re-exposure. Search as far back as necessary because many metals can deposit and remain within your body for years if not detoxed.
Metals in combination with a processed food (chemical) diet can create even more noticeable health reactions.
What To Expect
During most any detox program, things within the body will change. Look at the bigger picture of health.
Detoxing comes in layers. It’s like taking steps. There is a reason for one layer to clear before the next one does, and one health symptom may be revealed before the next. It’s like building a ladder by putting forth one step, and then another, and another. There are a few steps to go before full revival of health, but each step is one step closer to wellness.
