Good nutrition is critical for longterm health.
So is detoxing. And the more often you detox, the better.
Illness and disease symptoms don’t just pop out of nowhere. Something causes them.
Diseases can be caused by:
- food chemicals
- environmental chemicals
- medications
- vaccines
- microorganisms
Toxins at the root of disease should be removed regularly so health and wellbeing can be your norm.
An affective detoxification program removes the source of what’s causing disease symptoms, such as aspartame or radiation poisoning.
A detox program removes rancid residue from your body, and when you restore the essential nutrients that toxins destroy, you can regain your health and energy quicker.
Personally, I detox regularly not only because I work with animals on my wildlife preserve, but because it is just a smart and healthy thing to do. I keep my body cleansed of heavy metals and microbes; I purify my blood, cleanse my organs, especially my bladder and kidneys, and increase my overall oxygen level.
Detoxing can also help you lose those extra pounds of false weight.

French Green Clay
Mix one teaspoon of French Green Clay in water first thing in the morning or before bed on an empty stomach, seven (7) days a week; six (6) to eight (8) capsules equals one teaspoon of powdered clay.
Use the French Green Clay every day for the recommended Detox Period on an empty stomach so the clay can reach the toxins unobstructed. Always drink ample pure water during any Detox.
The dose can be spilt into twice a day if it is more convenient.

If you have never taken clay before, introduce FGC to your body gradually:
- Day 1,2 and 3 – 1/3 teaspoon
- Day 4,5 and 6 – 2/3 teaspoon
- Day 7 and on – 1 teaspoon
The clay is also recommended for children and for pets.

Make sure to order the clay specifically for internal use – it tastes just like pure powdered clay. I make my own toothpaste with it.
Note: The French Green Clay is more convenient to use in capsule form, but according to our expert, Walter, pure powdered FGC is recommended over using other processed forms of clay. And, I do not recommend clays that harden or cast, such as bentonite clay. Choose a form that you will consistently take, however, which is the most important part of starting a detox – consistency.
Note: the US FDA has not approved the FGC for internal use, but it is not because the clay is questionable – the FDA is “behind” on natural supplementation and detoxing. The French government has approved the FGC for internal use! They have used this clay internally in Europe for centuries.
You’ll feel the improvement fairly quickly, too.
Daily Vitamin C
I recommend vitamin C from ascorbic acid to bowel tolerance:
Begin with 1,000 to 2,000-mg. vitamin C each day and increase by 1,000 mg. daily until you have a loose stool. Remain at this dose, or slightly below, to maintain a soft stool.
You can split the daily dosage into a maximum of three (3) doses, if preferred. You can increase the vitamin C when needed to cleanse your body or if your stools become dry. Recommended use is seven (7) days a week.
I recommend vitamin C from the NOW Company and brands using pure and natural fruit sources. Vitamin C made from highly processed, high fructose corn sources can irritate your stomach and bowels.
These are my favorite choices: Ascorbyl Palmitate or Acerola from cherries, both made by NOW.
B Complex
B-Complex – 100 mg. to 150 mg. once daily in the morning, four (4) to five (5) times a week during Detox and as a regular supplement after the Detox program.
Niacin
Supplement five (5) to seven (7) times a week with extra B3 (niacin) until you flush shortly after taking (individual doses will vary).
Begin taking 50-100 mg. of niacin on a slightly full stomach (with a banana or a light snack). If you don’t feel a slight flush, each day, increase by 50-mg. until an immediate flush occurs. Do not panic if you turn red and your heart beats rapidly. This is a sign that your blood is cleansing, and toxins are being removed.
It is recommended to take niacin before working out, a hot bath or shower, during a sauna or steam bath, or at a time when your pores are open, and your heart rate is naturally elevated. Children can take low doses of niacin (50 mg recommended) before a warm bath, before playtime, or before sleeping.
If you have more toxins than niacin, you probably will not feel a flush, but if you have more niacin present in your blood as opposed to toxins, you will feel a flush. Then, you can back down by 50 mg daily until a mild flush is consistent.
Do NOT use time released or flush free niacin. This is an unnatural form of niacin and can stress the liver. It is preferred to use pure niacin that will activate immediately so you will know the present degree of toxicity.
NOTE: Be cautious when taking more than 50 mg of niacin if you are taking blood thinners or any blood pressure medications. Your blood will thin too much.
Recommended brands: Carlson® pure B3, and, again, NEVER use flush-free forms of niacin, which are toxic to your liver.
Digestive Enzymes after every meal.
Use an enzyme containing both upper (pepsin, HCL) and lower (amylase, lactase, etc.) digestive enzymes.
NOTE: It is best to use digestive enzymes AFTER a meal to encourage your natural digestive juices to produce on their own. The enzymes assist the body in supplying the proper nutrients needed for complete stomach digestion, and if taken after a meal, the body will not develop a dependency on them.
Wobenzym – N is an exception (it is not an exclusive stomach enzyme, but a body/systemic enzyme) and is to be taken 45 minutes before or after eating.
Tip: do not drink liquids while eating a meal to allow the digestive juices in the saliva to begin the first stages of digestion. Drinking while eating washes the initial enzymes out of the mouth before they have a chance to begin the digestion process.
I recommend NOW Super Enzymes, and Wobenzym-N.
Multi–vitamin and liquid trace mineral seven (7) days a week.
Avoid highly processed multi-vitamins with added metals (such as titanium, nickel and aluminum) and avoid those processed using synthetic-based chemical fillers, chemical sweeteners, and/or food dyes. ECO-GREEN multi-vitamin by NOW, Alive®, and Carlson brand Mini-Multi vitamins are highly recommended. Carlson has a good gummy Multi for kids, too.
FYI: I do not recommend a multi-vitamin with iron because you might not need iron. If you do need iron, you can get it from liver tablets.
NOTE: A quality multi-vitamin and mineral need only be taken four (4) to five (5) times a week after detoxing.
FutureBiotics makes a very good liquid Trace Mineral.
DIETARY TIPS
- No chemical sweeteners such as NutraSweet/Equal® (aspartame), Splenda® (sucralose), Neotame® (a modified version of aspartame), acesulfame-K or other diet chemical products at all;
- I recommend Himalayan salt, Celtic salt or any natural sodium sources when salt is used;
- No processed food chemicals [preservatives, colorings, processed oils, monosodium glutamate (MSG) or high fructose corn syrup] if you can avoid them;
- No white flour, white rice or white sugars. Refined foods are typically high in titanium; be selective with dairy products. Use only organic dairy products, natural fermented soy, rice or almond milk, no GMO dairy with rBST. Select dry, white cheeses, organic yogurt (whole soy yogurts are good), and curb dairy consumption at night;
- Cook with olive oil, coconut oil, hemp seed oil or any cold pressed seed oils of choice as opposed to processed (boiled) oils;
- Eat 75% raw or steamed foods at each meal;
- Supplement your multi-vitamins every other day or a maximum of five (5) days a week after the Detox; vitamins C and a digestive enzyme are the exceptions, and should be taken every day, on–going.
- During any cleanse, I also recommend taking acidophilus to restore the good bacteria in the intestines. The best probiotic on the market is an apple-flavored liquid by Nature’s Life
