Did you know that your diet affects your memory?
I figured this out when I was using aspartame. At the time I was drinking diet sodas, I couldn’t remember if I’d picked my kids up from school or not.
So yep, your diet DOES affect your memory.
Studies at the Cleveland Clinic show that the quality of your diet can influence your risk of cognitive health, including memory, confusion and the ability to think.
Observing people for five years showed that those with the healthiest diets were 24 percent less likely to have cognitive decline compared to those with the least healthy diets. Reports showed a potential risk for cardiovascular disease and Alzheimer’s connected to a poor diet.
So, what constitutes a poor diet?
