You bet. Especially this recipe …
And, crockpot cooking is a great way to keep the kitchen temperature cooler.
Crockpot Chili Chicken
Ingredients:
1 whole chicken
4 oz can diced green chilies
2 teaspoons chili powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoons sea salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 medium onion, diced
3/4 cup chicken broth
Directions
1. Place chicken in crockpot.
2. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour over the chicken.
3. Cook for about 8 hours on Low.
The chicken will fall off the bone when you pull it out of the crockpot, and it will be moist and tender, and very flavorful.
Awesome hint:
Toss in a couple of extra boneless skinless breasts to use later on salads.
