There’s a new discovery in the wellness field that you’ll be hearing more about. It’s called”Redox Signaling.” This is what your cells do naturally to communicate with other cells. It’s the foundational tool that the cells in your body use to create and maintain health and wellness.
Redox reactions are how your body communicates with itself to keep your “systems” going. They are central to the basic functions of life, including metabolism and respiration.
I think we’ve forgotten that our bodies know what they are doing without us interfering.
As we age and are exposed to toxins and stressors, your cells lose their ability to create your redox signaling molecules. So your body starts to lose its natural function, it begins to age and break down, and you can experience negative side effects.

When you help your body redox, you’re giving your cells the ability to communicate again, function properly, improve recovery, support your immune system, and reduce and eliminate pain.
Stay Salty To Redox
Tears and many of your body fluids are salty because of necessary electrolytes, which are salt ions. Your body uses electrolytes to create electricity that helps power your brain and move your muscles. Electrolytes contain sodium, and that keeps you salty.
The key is to keep your sodium levels balanced with the right forms of sodium while staying hydrated because each cell needs sodium to preform redox.
It’s very important to consume the right kind of sodium, and you should learn what your sodium levels are by doing a hair analysis before you adjust any salt intake.
I recommend using sources from sea salt when salt is added to your foods like Himalayan sea salt or Dead Sea salt, but ideally, you want to get your sodium from food sources.
