Have you noticed that when you detox, you lose weight?
Look at it another way – have you ever experienced gaining weight no matter how much you exercise and eat right?

According to research in the Journal of Nutrition, scientists at the University of Queensland discovered that certain vitamin deficiencies are linked to weight gain and obesity.
According to my research and experience, toxic chemicals can also cause weight gain.
I call this false weight, and when you detox and replace your nutrient balance, false weight typically drops off, and stays off.
When I created my Detox Program in 1991 to cure myself of aspartame poisoning, I researched which natural elements remove toxins, and which nutrients restore balance.
I lost 30 pounds detoxing from aspartame, and I discovered that the most critical elements for detoxing (and weight loss) are:
- the B-Complex
- pure sources of vitamin C
- extra B3, niacin
- upper and lower digestive enzymes
- a quality multi-vitamin with trace minerals
When detoxing, it is critical to restore depleted nutrients immediately at the time you remove toxins; the spaces that the toxins occupy must be replaced with healthy nutrients ASAP.
Providing your body needed nutrients can accelerate healing.
Lets look at how the B vitamins help with weight loss during detoxing.
The Australian study examined the intake of B vitamins with body fat. The study used data on 1131 Mexican American children between 8 and 15 years of age. The results showed that vitamins B-12, folate, thiamin, and riboflavin DO play a role in the risk of childhood obesity.
Think about this: If these health effects appear at younger ages, they can appear at any age; so, make sure that you maintain healthy B-vitamin levels throughout your lifetime, especially during detoxing.
The importance of B-vitamins to good health is one reason that I recommend supplementing with a B-Complex during detoxing.
A diet deficient in the B-Complex can cause many, various health issues, but note that heavy metals can deplete your Bs.
So, if your Bs aren’t replaced during detoxing, healing from an illness can be slow and possibly ineffective.
The B Team
There are 11 B-vitamins, and they work best as a team. The Bs are some of the most under-publicized of all the vitamins, yet they are essential for proper body function, particularly during puberty and menopause.
Now, the Bs appear to play a role in weight loss.
- During any detox, supplement with a B-Complex;
- Before detoxing, get a hair analysis to see what your nutrient levels are;
- Detox for as long as it takes to restore good health.
